Fluid Tech products are solidification/stabilization agents, developed for the efficient and economical disposal of radioactive and mixed wastes. They are slightly alkaline, non-flammable, non-reactive and non-corrosive, and are not biodegradable. These reagents immobilize wastes (liquid, sludge, or solid) through the action of complex bonding mechanisms and ion exchange reactions. The end result is an homogenous waste solid with excellent leach resistance.
Hazco Division products can solidify almost any waste - liquids, sludges, soils, dry solids, or suspensions. At the same time, they can chemically stabilize heavy metals and many organic compounds in the waste to meet EPA TCLP and Land Disposal Restrictions.
Pristine Sea I is a unique patented material (a natural clay) that has been chemically treated. The clay, when applied to hydrocarbons found floating on the water, immediately begin a chemical reaction - solidifying the oil and breaking up the oil slick into oil cakes as pictured in our brochure and video. As the solidification process continues, the oil cakes become semisolid, yet remaining soft and pliable, allowing none of the oil to escape into the water column or settle on the bottom. The cakes will remain afloat until recovered by mechanical or other means.
Trans/Seal I a dust suppressant and soil stabilizer designed to control dust mitigation, reducing particulate emissions caused by blowing dust, construction and transportation of materials. Trans/Seal I is a non-toxic water-soluble product developed specifically for the control of PM 10 fugitive dusts (Particulate Emission Potential) and is in compliance with EPA and the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection.
